Woman Lake

Cass County water east of Hackensack, on a chain with Girl and Child Lakes, because Minnesota names lakes like a family reunion.

Usual suspects: Walleye, Northern pike, Bass, Muskie, Panfish

Woman Lake sits in Cass County, about nine miles east of Hackensack, with Longville in the neighborhood and a navigable chain that includes Girl Lake and Child Lake. Somebody in a mapping office was having a day.

People talk walleye first, then pike, bass, muskie, and the panfish that keep a kid from staging a mutiny. Clear water, rice bays, rock, the usual north-central buffet. Short page only. We will not invent a rock bar that “is loaded.” Check Reports.

What’s happening

We are watching the calendar. Nothing on the books for this water that we can stand behind. When a real lake day shows up, it will land here — not a daydream with a date slapped on it. See all of Events.
